Burlesque Basics Monday 8:30 in Long Beach

A 4 week all level workshop that teaches the ins and out of starting burlesque as a hobby ending with an (optional) group performance at our Valentines Day Show in Long Beach!

This workshop includes:

DANCE/MOVEMENT: Confidence in Heels, Stage Presence, Improvisation, Choreography, Bumps and Grinds, Glove peels/reveals, Group Performance (optional)

BTS: Choosing a stage name, Finding your burlesque persona, Act Development, Showgirl Etiquette. Costume Basics

This 4 week act development workshop is open to performers who have completed Gem School OR have been actively performing for at least one year. Over the month of January, we will deep dive into our acts, developing them while getting feedback along the way. This will end in a showcase on January 31 at Paulie’s Pizza in Orange County

Daphne is available for private dance lessons or act development/consultation for $80/hr.
